About The Highlands

The Highlands at Spanish Fort, within a 15-minute drive from Mobile, Alabama, is a major driving factor in the local economy. Between huge music festivals, a regional airport, top-notch medical facilities, an influx of large companies, a vibrant nightlife and the original, family-friendly Mardi Gras, the “Azalea City” is constantly brimming with energy. Alabama’s only saltwater port, Mobile is a cultural icon of the Southeast. It is home to a myriad of museums, the most well-known being the Battleship Memorial Park, where the World War II-era battleship U.S.S. Alabama – among other historic aircraft and museum ships – are housed.
