The main event:
Grand Prix Benefit Calcutta
Last year's event was a resounding success, raising money and awareness for charity, as well as giving attendees a premier mountain celebration to remember. This year’s event promises to be even more rewarding, with a full day of festivity and entertainment for guests—and a $25,000 Grand Prix Calcutta showcasing world-class horses and riders, all for a great cause, in a setting that is truly spectacular.
Don't Know What a Calcutta is?
Form of bidding on horse-and-rider teams in a live-auction environment.
The auctioneer sells each team to the highest bidder. Bidders can be individuals, tables (8) or a group of friends.
Horses and riders attempt to navigate a fault-free first course, with no rails down, within the time allowed. The fastest horse with no rails down wins.
All auction proceeds are donated to MANNA. The "owners" of the winning horse-and-rider team will receive a week-long trip to a house on the beautiful Caribbean Island of Bonaire.
